Client Case Study Aimee LaLiberte - When I Grow Up

Client Case Study Aimee LaLiberte - When I Grow Up Um, do you know that Ive coached hundreds of women since I started offering dream career guidance in 2008? And that these women are freakin rock stars, leaving soul-sucking jobs and traveling the world and launching creative, grown-up businesses and simply doing work that fits their lifestyle goals? Well ya do now and youll hear their stories firsthand in my  Client Case Studies series!  Aimee LaLiberte is another 90 Day Business Launch alum who came to us drowning in overwhelm. She had her business idea in her head, but was paralyzed when it came to actually putting it up on the web. Read on to hear what her secret sauce to launching has been, and all the goodness she has in store! Why did you decide to sign up for 90 Day Business Launch? I signed up for the 90 Day Business Launch because I was drowning in overwhelm. I wanted to start my business, The Wellness Bookkeeper, and knew that required a lot of work and found it difficult prioritizing it all. Essentially, I was in a state of paralysis because I couldnt decide what to do first. What were you doing work-wise when you started the program? I was working full-time at a university as a Senior Advancement Officer. My job was to foster philanthropic relationships between the university and its alumni. What was your biggest takeaway from 90 Day Business Launch? Building your business takes TIME, PRIORITIZATION and FOCUS! In my initial questionnaire, I shared my plans to build my website, launch an online course, book myself solid with 1:1 clients, write an ebook, launch a podcast, do speaking gigs all in 6 months! Looking back, this is really laughable. Michelle gave me a big virtual hug, then outlined a realistic plan for the next 90 days. I know, without a doubt, I wouldnt have launched my Web site if it wasnt for the 90 Day Business Launch program. Was there anything else you tried to do as a business between the time we stopped the program and what you do for work now? Yes! About a month after I applied to the program, I decided to leave my full-time job at the university. As I grow The Wellness Bookkeeper, I also work part-time at a non-profit where I lead their fundraising program. The ultimate long-term goal is to do The Wellness Bookkeeper exclusively. However, this will take time, so currently, Im focused on building my 1:1 clients and will write an ebook, available for purchase, in the next 90 days! What would you tell someone now that was in your shoes when we first started working together? Trust Michelle that gal has got your back. She will give you a nudge when you need it and she will pour you with lots of love and positive vibes. It brings great comfort to know Michelle has been in your shoes and can be your guide. Whats your best tip to allow them to make a grown-up living doing what they love? You owe it to yourself to live your life doing what you love. Whats on the horizon for your business? Wed love to hear about any upcoming offerings or goals! I currently have 5 1:1 monthly consulting spots available and 1 spot for my Beyond the Shoebox Bookkeeping Intervention.
